Dentro del marco de la Asamblea Constituyente instalada en el Ecuador desde noviembre del 2007, este artículo discute los mecanismos que han asumido los pueblos indígenas de la Sierra y la Amazonía frente al Estado en la búsqueda por concretar sus demandas de inclusión.This article discusses the mechanisms used by Amazonian and highland indigenous communities in their effort to consolidate demands for political inclusion, within the context of the Constituent Assembly initiated in Ecuador in November 2007.
