O artigo propõe uma expansão da genealogia do poder de Michel Foucault para incluir a análise das racionalidades ecológicas de governo. Parte da noção de governamentalidade para propor ecogovernamentalidade, como reorganização dos conceitos de população, segurança e economia política, nos quais a regulação dos vivos se expandiria para regulação de tudo o que necessário para a vida. Localizo, nessa expansão, a emergência de uma nova épistème ecológica que levaria o problema do governo a uma nova fase crítica.The article proposes an expansion of Michel Foucault’s genealogy of power in order to include the analysis of ecological rationalities of government. It departs from the notion of governmentality to introduce the notion of eco-governmentality, reorganizing the concepts of populations, security and political economy, in which the regulation of the living would be expanded to regulate all that is needed for life. It identifies, in this process, the emergence of a new ecological episteme that would take the issue of government to a new critical phase.
