La tesis se propone analizar el modo en que el campo literario argentino y la historiografía argentina discuten la consagración de sus productos; indaga en las dinámicas y los valores que se despliegan en las disputas por integrar el canon de cada una de dichas disciplinas durante la primera década del siglo XXI. Para ello, la investigación hace foco en la prensa grafica nacional, específicamente en el suplemento cultural Ñ para el caso de la literatura, y en los diarios Clarín, La Nación y Página/12 para el de la historia. El estudio no sólo se propone indagar cómo se discute el canon en la literatura y la historiografía argentinas sino que también apunta a insertar esta discusión en la trama simbólica que la conforma, dando cuenta así de la matriz cultural que, configurada social e históricamente, imprime allí su impronta. Los debates que se organizan alrededor de la idea de canon que aquí se analizan son una prueba de cómo se pegan a la problemática del canon un conjunto de discusiones de amplio alcance que, si bien refieren a cierto estado de ambos campos y a las relaciones de fuerzas que allí se establecen, también se caracterizan por reflexionar sobre el estado de una cultura. The thesis aims to analyze how the Argentine literary and historiography discuss the consecration of their products; explores the dynamics and values that are displayed in disputes canon integrate each of these disciplines during the first decade of the century. To do this, the research focus was on the national newspapers, for specifically in the cultural supplement Ñ for the case of literature, and in the newspapers Clarín, La Nación and Página/12 for historiography field. The study proposes to investigate not only discusses how the canon in Argentine literature and historiography but also points to include this discussion in the symbolic frame inside them, thus accounting for the cultural matrix, socially and historically configured, prints their mark there. The discussions are organized around the idea of canon discussed here are proof of how they stick to the issue of canon a set of wide-ranging discussions that while referring to some state of both fields and power relations established therein, are also characterized by reflecting on the state of a culture.
