Description
La violencia, según las autoras, es un objeto cultural de uso que se inserta naturalmente en el imaginario colectivo (imaginario mercantil) estructurado, entre otros medios, por la denominada crónica roja. En ella, el discurso de la violencia adquiere una fuerza mágica que fetichiza la relación hombre-mujer y refuerza estereotipos machistas y roles discriminatorios que no solo afectan a la mujer, sino también al hombre, al castrarle algunos de sus sentimientos y emociones como la ternura y todas sus manifestaciones.
