Description
La fiesta de la Mama Negra se la realiza en dos momentos diferentes. En septiembre se la realiza por parte de los comerciantes del mercado Pichincha de la iglesia de la Merced para rendirle homenaje a la protectora de las erupciones del volcán Cotopaxi (La Virgen de La Merced). En noviembre se la realiza por parte del Municipio de Latacunga en honor a las fiestas de fundación de la ciudad.
