La definición del constructo clima de clase presenta múltiples facetas de abordaje
de la ecología del aula que implican poner en consideración aspectos instruccionales y
sociales. La incorporación de factores emocionales relacionados con la cercanía del
docente con sus estudiantes plantea el estudio del clima emocional de clase a partir de
la comprensión de la calidad afectiva de las interacciones áulicas. Buscando generar efectos motivacionales desde el clima emocional de clase, se presenta una investigación desarrollada en una escuela pública secundaria ubicada en
la provincia de Neuquén, Argentina, a partir del diseño y desarrollo de un programa de
intervención destinado a docentes con la finalidad de servir como estrategia de
asesoramiento pedagógico. Los análisis desarrollados determinan que la aplicación del programa produjo mejoras en el rendimiento académico y en la percepción de cercanía que los estudiantes tenían de sus docentes, e incluso de sus propias posibilidades de aprendizaje. La confrontación de creencias, valoraciones y acciones concretas por parte de los docentes implicó la realización de cambios en categorías del clima motivacional y emocional de clase incrementando la sensación de autoeficacia. Esta investigación genera aportes a la construcción del rol de asesor pedagógico en la escuela secundaria, afirmando la necesidad de alcanzar la validez y pertinencia de nuevas estrategias que generen compromiso con la tarea docente y promuevan la mejora de la calidad afectiva de las interacciones áulicas, como facilitadoras de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.
